Annette Funicello (born Annette Funicello) was an American musician, actress and performer. Her most famous work is being one of the Mickey Mouse Club's original Mouseketeers. In her teens Annette began singing and became a household name for her songs 'Tall Paul' as well as Pineapple Princess'. Annette was an introverted child that grew up in Utica and was surrounded by Italian immigrants. Annette hoped to make a career in the entertainment business, and quickly switched to dancing and acting. In the mid-late 1950s, Annette became well-known for her appearance in numerous "Disneysketch shows. Annette's Disney persona faded after she turned an adult and began playing adult roles. Her most famous role is one of the early actors who introduced the genre "beach events". The films she appeared in included "Pajama Party," "How to stuff a wild bikini' and 'Beach Party'. Her music career continued with albums. Annette was diagnosed with multiples sclerosis since the year 1992.
